When the trees shine in their most vibrant colours, the Tyrolean holiday region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis invites you to the Culinary Autumn 2025 under the motto of the potato. But it’s not only nature that reflects the golden season: from 1 September to 19 October, locals and guests alike will be beaming at numerous events.

The mountain forests put on their most colourful festive dress, the light is golden and a gentle silence lies over everything – that means autumn has arrived. Thanks to clear air, endless views and a slower pace, this season is considered by many holidaymakers to be the most beautiful of all. So off you go to enjoy hiking or biking in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis! With emphasis on “enjoy”. What could be better than climbing a mountain on a mild autumn day or feeling the fresh air on your face while cycling? Fortunately, the three mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis offer just the right thing for every guest – from gentle pleasure routes to more challenging summit tours. Of course, families with children and prams are also well catered for. Alongside all the action, guests and locals can also look forward to plenty of culinary, musical and cultural events this autumn. Nowhere could autumn be more golden than here in the Upper Tyrolean Inntal valley! These are the Culinary Autumn highlights around Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis in chronological order:

The Potato

All autumn long: Everything about the potato

In September and October, everything in the mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis revolves around the potato. This humble tuber is a symbol of down-to-earth tradition, a sense of home and culinary variety. Known as the "gold of the field," the potato was once a staple food and remains a key ingredient in many Tyrolean autumn dishes such as Gröstl, potato soup or Erdäpfel goulash. It’s only natural that the 2025 Culinary Autumn in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is dedicated to this versatile natural product.

13th Tractor and Vintage Car Meeting

12 to 14 September 2025

Anyone who loves old agricultural machines, cars and motorbikes should mark the weekend of 12 to 14 September in red. That’s when the 13th Tractor and Vintage Car Meeting takes place, with participants from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. That’s nostalgia come alive!s

"Kunst am Berg"

6 September to 12 October 2025

From 6 to 28 September, culture lovers can find inspiration – not just anywhere, but high up at the Fisser Schönjoch at 2,436 metres above sea level. At the unique event called Art on the Mountain, artists create their works live in front of spectators – and at a finissage on 28 September, these can even be purchased. And from 13 September to 12 October, an exhibition of amateur artists will take place around the BergDiamant panoramic restaurant, which is well worth a visit.

Almabtrieb – the summer retreat is over for the cows

The Almabtrieb is a traditional festival in the Alps, where decorated cattle herds return from the alpine pastures to the valley at the end of summer. This colourful spectacle, accompanied by music and celebrations, attracts many visitors every year and offers a vivid impression of Alpine culture and tradition.

Golden Fine Arts Festival

Every Friday to Sunday from 26 September to 12 October

The Golden Fine Arts Festival takes place on six dates, every Friday to Sunday from 26 September to 12 October in Serfaus and Fiss. These two culinary weeks entice with a unique combination of fine food, art and great music. Plenty of live bands – from brass ensembles to jazz groups – perform and create a fantastic atmosphere. Which makes the culinary delights taste twice as good!

Farmers’ Market at the Museum

At the Farmers’ Market in “s’Paules & Seppls Haus”, the oldest farmhouse in Fiss, culture meets art and culinary delights on 2 October. Visitors can look forward to craftsmanship, farm produce and lively music.
