Equipment is the be-all and end-all!
Anyone heading off the slopes should always be well prepared. The right equipment is essential – for your own safety and that of others.
Standard equipment includes:
- Avalanche transceiver (LVS)
- Shovel
- Probe
- First aid kit
- Helmet
Safety first:
Find out about the current avalanche situation before every tour and never go into open terrain alone. Even a short exchange with locals or at the info point can be helpful.
